Ohhhhh, that's why I've been a hot mess!!! I'm about to start my period! Wow. I really hate, hate, HATE to admit it, but my monthly hormones have been having a real effect on me.
I just pieced it together. I have been feeling way more emotional the last couple days & overwhelmed & wound up. Nothing I was doing was really helping, even praying and the such. Then as I talk to Corey it dawns on me, I'm about to start my period! Totally dramatic feelings, check. Hard time with self-control (with food & kids), check. Outbursts, check! Wanting to quit my "hard" volunteer commitment, check. Then I realized about once a month I get a little fed up with this volunteer commitment! bahaha. It could also be because I don't know if I had really asked God if this was something I was supposed to do, or jumped into it because it sounded fun. Because I do have other volunteer commitments I LOVE & really help me through these hard times. That's another story.
So, there you have it... I am lame! I am one of those women. ;) I will blame it on the Mirena. ha! I'll also put off any big decisions until after my visit from "aunt rose".
Sorry all those affected by my craziness. But now that I see what's causing it, I can not listen to my feelings so much & trust God. Blessed!

Question
Have you ever wanted to ask someone a question, but it's not really appropriate. Like you've wanted to know something for a long time & think you kind of know the answer, but aren't sure. It would be pretty embarassing if you were wrong, but you are dying to know. Although... knowing would really change anything, just make you feel better.
Yeah, I'm there. & no I'm not telling you guys what the question is & to whom it is directed.
I suppose we all have those questions to mulitple people sometimes. I just have one that has been on my mind lately. I think it's because I read an article in the May issue of Real Simple magazine, something along the lines of "10 questions to ask your mother" (no it's not to my mom). One of the questions you ask is "Is there anything you wish you would've told me if I died?" or something like that. lol. So, NOW I'm thinking of all the things I'd want people to know if I died & I want to know if they have anything they want to tell me before I die. lol.
This one case is paticularly upsetting... ugh. lol.

I can't wait
I can't wait for my little man to be born.
I can't wait to get to my prepregancy size (or smaller)
I can't wait to feel sexy again
I can't wait to have an hourglass curve again!
I can't wait to be able to sit without my ribs hurting.
I can't wait to see his little face!
I can't wait to see Corey hold him.
I can't wait to run again.
I can't wait to jump into the hot tub (like an extremely hot, hottub).
I can't wait to not sweat in the middle of the night (even though the heater is practically off, I still sweat!!).
I can't wait to sleep on my tummy.
I can't wait to try this breastfeeding thing.
I can't wait...
What about you?

23 weeks today!
So this week has been pretty uneventful, but it passed by really fast. Corey & I both keep forgetting it's Friday! Today we went on a walk to the park with Molly, so here's some of those pictures!

Corey update:
He switched this week from graves (10pm-7am) to day shift (6am-3pm), which is such a blessing. Before he'd be switching all the time, which was hard on his body. It's also good because now we wont have issues being able to visit churches anymore. Yaye!
William update:
He is doing good, as far as I can tell. He moves a lot more than before. He's growing or at least it feels like it, because it is getting harder to breathe! (not in a scary way, in a i'm-full way).
Other updates:
It's official, I am going to begin painting our room THIS coming week!!! Yaye! I had to put it off because we had to wait for all the moving finances to settle out & because my family was here.
Speaking of which, they should be moving out tomorrow or Sunday! They will be living in Sumter, SC, which is the town outside of base. Brandon & Katie have been out of school for 3 weeks! So they need to go back pronto!
So, Can I just say I LOVE this time of year!! It kind of starts with Halloween, but it really kicks off with my birthday!! Right after my birthday is Thanksgiving (hopefully we will be going to MD to be with Corey's family & visit my grandma), then it'll be the Christmas Season!!! The shopping!
The colors!
The smells!
The music!
The baking!
Remembering Jesus being born!
Spending time with friends & family!
AHH, it's just so wonderful! I love thinking of what to buy, or make, for the people I love. I'm such a gift person, it's definitely a love language of mine. (Have you read the 5 Love Languages? If not you should! It's great!)
Well, all that to say, I'm baking up a storm lately! I'm testing out cookie & bread recipes that I am going to be sending out to loved ones! This is the first year that I'm going to be able to do that! I'm going to write out reviews, on here, of the things I bake. If it's a good batch I'll post the recipe too! Stay tuned!
